Recommended if you look for relatively quiet space for meetings and work. The taste of food is okay, and the price is reasonable for this sort of place. (with that I mean not cheap although also not too expensive, depends on what you order)

Actually this was the first time I came to this place. Really located at prime area, this restaurant already has a good competitive advantage. I don’t think the food is special, because you can find any of its menu in other cafe. What make this place special is they have a really nice atmosphere, it is a recommended place if you want to hang out with your friends, make an event like community sharing or having a nice dinner with your spouse.

Decided to go for Pasar Baru route from Harmoni busway station and stopped by Pecenongan bus station, just accross this restaurant. I decided to try the satay ajag ijig with lontong, along with a glass of es kopi (iced coffee) ajag ijig. The satay is beef, and I'm not very pleased with the big cuts that they have plus there was no knife (had struggle cutting meat using spoon and fork). The downside as well is that the satay only has sweet soy sauce as sauce and lots of freshly cut chilis on side for those who like it spicy. Lontong as rice substitute was quite nice. Lastly, the iced coffee, sorry to say but it's definitely worse than normal mixed coffee in a package. All that I actually like from this place is their interior, pleasant vibes, and polite server. A restaurant still a restaurant, ppl will look forward to food quality as no. 1 consideration and all the above has been my honest review.

Been visiting this place several times since few years ago. One of the coziest resto/cafe in town. They have 3 floors, the 3rd floor is the best (indoor smoking area, more quiet than the other floors, have prayer room). Basically this place is so quiet, good choice to hangout with friends, family or lover. Price is a bit pricey but they have wide range of menu.Give 5 stars for its super-cozy place! Ajag Ijig also have other branch in Matraman but not that cozy (the Matraman one is good for taking photos or bridal shower thingy)

A cosy restaurant in the heart of Jakarta that offers local Betawi cuisine. The place is usually packed on weekdays because of the many offices nearby. But coming on weekends will feel that you have the place for yourself. The interior is classic and classy at the same time. The food is quite authentic and comes with a satisfying portion. I particularly love their "semur daging" that tastes so homey and tender. The food do come with a price, but it worths the taste and the warmth of the atmosphere.

The truth is, been visiting this place for quite a few times. First experience, probably a year a go, I was so delighted by it's effort to preserve the heritage building they're using. Colonial style, with authentic wood floors, almost like nothing's changed. The food was awesome. The variety of drinks as well. The staff was quick and smart. But, the 2nd time, third and fourth time I visited this place, I started noticing something different. The staffs. They're seem to be working with no passion. I have no idea why, but I kinda getting some wrong gestures from them. I'm not trying to point fingers or anything, but that's just what I'm getting. Hopefully they could find some encouragement from somewhere and make the place lively again.

Good place to stay quite for outside office work. Only tried the snacks grilled banana & tape with chocolate and cheese is very nice. The coffee is soso.

A very nice but overpriced Cafe

This place offering many tranditional local food and beverages. Quality of food are quite good and served as origin. The worthy prices compared the quality and taste. Recomended place to try. It will be good if the resto make up the sofa since some of the long sofa are too low then make a little trouble since the table are much higher.

First time here and I don't expect the place to be big and quite fancy. It looks like a regular eating place from outside and when inside and explore the 2nd floor then only noticed the place is quite comfy and big. Very suitable for office meetings or hanging out.The food are mostly Jakarta or Betawi even we still can find rawon which is originated from East Java. They also have lunch set menu including ice tea with cheaper price but with smaller size than regular menu.I tried rawon and a bit dissapointed, the soup is rather bland and seems it was not cooked long enough to make the ingredients marinated well into soup and the meat.The food price is normal for this kind of establishment but the dessert and drinks are the ones which will rip out your wallet. 13k for mineral water? 12k for plain ice tea? C'mon!

The place is reflecting vintage restaurant. They provide Betawi food and quite delicious. I just dont like that the area for smoking is in one place with non smoking area.
